My Family

Grandma Betsy

I love this lady!! She has the most unique personality of anyone I have ever met. If we could all see the world through her eyes, we would all be so happy!

The Boys In Red

Tay, my dad and my uncles Peter and Dave bearing no resemblance at all! Interestingly enough, the red shirts were not planned!

Halle with my Aunt Nan

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of visiting her at her house in San Francisco. She has a gift with children, she has always taken care of me and my cousins and now she spoils my kids!

My Crazy Aunt Patti

My aunt that is more like a sister. I can't think of anyone in the world I would rather "get crazy" with. Fiji, mona chi-gi, cappa chichi cona fiji fiji fiji..................

My cousin Tara

This girl has blossomed into an amazing young women whom I have no doubt will one day change our world.

girls camp

I was able to spend the day at girls camp last week with the young women. I don't often get a chance to spend time with them outside of church. It was fun to get to know them better and see their unique personalities. Even though I am the secretary in the Young Women's Presidency I still feel like I am one of them. I often wonder how I got to be "a grown up". I don't feel any different, although my energy level and my metabolism have slowed down but other than that....

swim lessons

On Friday daddy was able to take Taylor to swim lessons while I was at girl's camp. I recieved an excited phone call in which Taylor was screaming"Mommy I got a piece of paper and it says Eels!!!" This, for those of you not in touch with the "Swim Lesson Lingo" means that Taylor graduated from "Pikes" and was moved up to "Eels". This, I might add is a very hard feat for a four year old. He can float on his back, swim 5 feet by himself and on a good day, swim down and catch three rings from the bottom of the pool. His favorite thing is practicing "Superman Arms" in the water, naturally, because as he will tell you he is Superman.
