Last Girls Night Out :(

My favorite San Diego girls....I met all of these ladies through my church and I am a better person for it. I have been blessed to have them in my life. Each in their own special way has touched me, left a watermark on my life and I will never forget them.

Taylor's First LOVE Letter...

We had our first Parent Teacher Conference with Taylor's Kindergarten Teacher last week. Yes, he is right on schedule with reading, writing and math... not so much with drawing and art (that E's fault) blah, blah, blah BUT we got some juicy info! Apparantly, little Chloe "is in love with Taylor" and talks about him all the time. The teacher was sad to break the news to Chloe's mom that we are moving... "Oh no she will be crushed!" she exclaimed. The next day Taylor came home with this:






*The first month of school there was another little girl named Jade who would stand outside and cry. E said that Taylor would not go into the class until she stopped crying and than he walked her in every morning. I HOPE he stays so sweet ( and in Chloe's words "nice and cute").

One of my favorites..

This month I have decided to post a few of "my favorite things" because I don't have anything else going on (HAH)! These pictures are of Amber and her CUTE family. Amber is one of my favorite people. She was my first friend I made in San Diego and at that time I NEEDED a friend more than I ever had. We both LOVE Reality TV, shopping (especially for kids clothes, although one of us is more frugally responsible), going to lunch, chocolate, having babies and Utah. E said to her the other day that we needed to be next door neighbors-I think we definitely should (after we win the Amazing Race together we will buy our dream homes)! I loved this shoot , it was windy and the light was flat at first and than the sky opened up..... I will miss the ocean.

A New Family of Three

I did a session with my friends Justyn and Dan and their sweet new baby boy Noah. It all went well until we added the cousins (disaster). I got some good ones even through the tears, my favorites are the not so smiley serious ones of kids.

A Girl's Gotta Have Shoes!!!!

This has been a SAD week for me because I have been selling Halle's clothes :(. Im a little obsessed with shopping for her and I was quite attached to everything!!! BUT... sadly, no more girl babies for me (unless I can talk Ely into it in a few years-YEAH RIGHT). I would of loved to give them to certain people scattered all around but we cant keep moving everything everywhere. I kept some favorites and someday I will make a quilt with them. These are about half of her shoes she has had since she was born-I blame Target for having cute, affordable shoes.

Halloween

Time For Another Change

This year has been full of changes for our family... a new photography business, a pregnancy (not exactly the easiest one but worth it :)), a move to a new house, Taylor starting Kindergarten, the arrival of Ashton and now another move! After great contemplation we have decided to transfer to Casper, Wyoming. Wyoming, really. No, I have never had the desire to move to Wyoming but it will be best for our family. Although we have met some wonderful people in San Diego who will be greatly missed, we never planned on settling here and always had intentions to return home To Salt Lake City. At this time, it is near impossible to transfer back there. This move will for one, get us closer to our families and two, make it easier to transfer home in the future because it is the same division as SLC. We are also excited to live in a smaller, more affordable place. I know I will be getting payback for complaining about San Diego's "one season" weather- I have heard PLENTY about the winters and the wind!!!!! We will be leaving in mid December (nice time to move huh?). I am trying not to freek out, having a five week newborn and all but I am starting to get stressed. Wish us luck:)
PS-Anyone know anyone who needs to rent a great house in a great neighborhood? We still have 6 months on our lease!!!!

Never to late...

I have been waiting to post these pictures until Julie gave me the CD so I could post full resolution shots. Well, long story short (computer issues), these ones will have to do. Two months ago Melinda and Katie (my BOG's) threw me a baby shower with my fabulous friends in my ward.

*The girls at this Parisian Cafe called Cafe Chloe (cute name). We had to have the waiter explain every dish numerous times because we didn't know what the ingredients were.
