"You are mean".... this is Halle's new favorite thing to say to me. Nevermind that she dumped out daddy's oatmeal (just for fun), spilled my foundation, made Taylor cry, called me a "poo- poo head", smeared yogurt all over the table, got into my purse -ate half my gum (a daily occurence), found a pen, scattered all the contents of my wallet through out the house while I was cleaning up the foundation- all before 9:30 this morning!!!!! I didn't "lose it" until she took her shoes, jacket and diaper off as I was trying to get Tay out the door to school. "You are mean , Tader my mama is mean!"

It sounds like you've had a rough morning! We've had days like that too. Those are the days that you count down the minutes to nap/bed time.
You just described life at my house! I get called a poo poo head on a regular basis, just the other day at Wal Mart I was trying to get her back into the cart (she climbs out all the time) and she screamed at the top of her lungs "let go of me you poo poo head!" Fun times!
Oh the stages they go thru! Lucy right now is at the fun stage where she can't talk but instead lets out a high pitched squell to let me know what she wants! Luv it! Cami
I can't imagine you every losing it!! If Halle thinks HER Mom is mean, she should come talk to my kids!!
I feel for you, days like that are never in the "fairytale" stories of being a Mom!! Someone needs to tell us about these things!!
i love being the 'mean mom'(not in a sadistic way)but it makes me feel like i am doing my job well when things aren't moving along like a fairytale.
Remind me to share the story about Roxy calling strangers wierdos when I have more time. Priceless.
