It has been an eventful 2 weeks. We found out that our landlord of the house we've been renting for the last 3 and half years was having financial difficulties and that we had six months until it was to be foreclosed on. Being five months pregnant, we decided not to wait and immediately starting looking. We were fortunate to find a much larger home in a better area where the rent is more but very reasonable for the neighborhood because the man that owns it would rather keep the kitchen and bathrooms outdated and the rent a bit lower (dont you just love original peach and teal tile). It is still frustrating to pay rent that would be a mortgage in another state but we are thankful for this house. I finally have air and heat, which is rare in San Diego even though you need it! Things are a disaster still but we are getting organized and I am going to start painting next week (yes I checked with my doctor). The best thing is that I have had a complete breakthrough with my sickness and I feel sooooooooooo much better. Thank you Katie, Nicole and Laura for all the help with the kids and packing and for all the men with big trucks that helped us move.

Did you move farther North in SD?
I'm glad you are feeling better! I'm glad you didn't wait to move too because moving with a newborn is frustrating because nobody will let you do anything!

Your house is so cute! I love the gables over the windows!
