nature
This big guy was just hanging out in our neighbor's front yard as we drove by. Luckily, I had my camera with me. To Ely's nervousness, I got very close to him to take this picture (anything for a picture right?). He just stared at me with his tail twirling around like a dog. Everyone who drove by us thought we were nuts. I guess an Elk in your front yard isn't a big deal in Casper but we thought it was pretty awesome.

That picture is amazing.
We get them in our yard on a regular basis here, too. It still is a cool thing to see, I'm just tired of the "presents" they leave on the lawn!
Awesome indeed. I get excited for hummingbirds but this is major league!
YOur not in SanDiego anymore Dorothy. Beautiful photography.

I guess that's Casper for you. Beautiful as always.

how far is caspar from slc? Maybe we could come up and visit you guys?? your house is beautiful! How will you ever adjust to so much SPACE after living in SD?? I am so happy things have all fallen into place for you all. We sure love you guys.
I was just informed by my father (the environmental science teacher) that this is not an Elk, it's a deer.
