little joys of summer

I really think Im appreciating summer so much because I finally had a chance to miss it!

I used to take this same walk countless SUMMER NIGHTS as a little girl. There used to be a Dairy Queen where we would buy 50 cent "BROWN TOPPERS" and walk to this very same park to eat them. This "SNO-BALL" stand is the local hit of the summer and VERY much worth the walk. It's a ball of SNOW with a light syrup available in many flavors (even Dill Pickle-gross). I, not being a fan of syrupy, sweet snow cones loved my light "Pink Grapefruit" flavor. Just in case you're wondering, here are the others choices.

TAYLOR- ROOT BEER
HALLE- COTTON CANDY
DAD-CHERRY
MOM-PINA COLADA
ASHTON-SAMPLED ALL FIVE

Next flavor on the list to try-MUDSLIDE

Don't you think Ashton is a little young for snow? I mean, how do you think that affects a developing baby?! Kidding, of course. The pics look great and I am headed there tomorrow for the dill pickle. I'll let you know how it is! Have fun in CA!

Oh yes, I miss that dairy queen. I spent most of my summer nights there too! I know that park, too! How fun. The first picture looks like a clothing ad!
