Taylor had a primary program today at church where in a loud robotic voice he delivered his line " I'm trying to be like Jesus" into the microphone. He did awesome, he had worked on his line for weeks! I found it amusing for Taylor to get this particular line because he has always had a slight obsession with Jesus. Last year he attended a Baptist preschool where they shared bible stories. And of course, we attend the Mormon Church where each week he learns various stories. So, between these two things he developed a fascination with Jesus (probably a good thing to be fascinated with). Two years ago my dad asked him who we were going to see on our family vacation and Taylor wide-eyed answered "Jesus?". This past Easter he loved to tell the story "Jesus died and they put him in the ground and in 3 days he ROSE (he would hold up his hands to heaven while saying this) Last summer while on the plane to Utah he told me that we were flying in the clouds to Jesus's house and asked if we would see him?" Last month every time he got mad at me he told me that he was going to tell Jesus on me. Just this week I decorated for Christmas (yes I know I am crazy-explanation on next post) and he found the silver Baby Jesus from my manger scene that he used to carry around-constantly last year. He was very confused that Jesus was a baby and thought there were two Jesus's. I explained that Jesus was a baby once like everyone and then he grew up- he said "oh, so now he's regular Jesus". So he has been going around all week calling him "Regular Jesus"
