We celebrated Halle's 2nd birthday with our good friends at Bates Nut Farm on Saturday. It is an amazing farm with a real pumpkin patch, farm animals, tractor rides, pony rides and a country store. It was an usually chilly "fall" like day in San Diego so we got to layer up with our warm clothes! After the pumpkin patch we celebrated at Spaghetti Factory where we had our "Hello Kitty" party. Growing up my mom always made our birthdays very special. I remember homemade cupcakes for every single class and themed out birthday parties. Even though some people (by that I mean my husband) think I go a little overboard, it means a lot to me that my kids know that this is their one special day a year where I can say " You are so special, you deserve all of this and I love you". It is hard to be away from family on birthdays but I have got some wonderful people here that made my little girl feel so loved!
