the neighborhood

I had to take this picture of the kids playing in their masks. The poor little troopers, they were stuck home for four days with no school, no activities unable to go outside because of the fires until Thursday. Taylor finally was let out to play with his neighborhood buddies only to run in a few seconds later frantically saying " Mom, Kyle says I need a mask", to which I said " I don't have a mask", he said "Well.....I need something!" So, I searched for his red bandana from his Halloween costume last year. He was so excited to run out and show Kyle his mask. Before you knew it the rest of the kids were sporting red bandanas, it looked like a little neighborhood of bank robbbers!



This is the crew that runs around the neighborhood from the time school gets out until we force them (kicking and screaming) to come in for dinner.
